The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 3090 patients had been admitted to the Egyptian medical mission clinics for Hajj until Friday, July 26 in the morning, where they were examined and the necessary treatments provided.
The ministry said in a statement that the number of patients in clinics, 1769 cases in Mecca, 1321 cases in Medina, 13 cases entered Saudi hospitals and left 3 after their recovery, and 10 cases are treated until Now.
For his part, the head of the Hajj medical mission, Dr. Mohammed Dhahi, who performed kidney dialysis in 6 cases in Saudi hospitals, while another case received chemotherapy, emphasizing medical team in coordination with Saudi hospitals before dialysis and chemotherapy sessions, Egyptian pilgrims are fully supported by the medical service, as the medical team of the medical mission responsible for daily control of all hospitals where pilgrims are held in order to control them and to monitor their state of health.
He stressed that the prevention team continues to organize seminars to inform pilgrims about preventive measures, distribute leaflets and leaflets to identify infectious and non-communicable diseases and how to prevent them.
