Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health, confirmed that the Institute of Oncology had been evacuated from the 42 patients, at the request of the administration of the Institute, to the institutes Nbader and Al-Munira and the Dar Al-Salam Hospital of the Ministry of Health.
In an interview with Extra News, she said that 42 ambulances had been evacuated immediately after the accident from the vicinity of the Zaynab Institute of Oncology and that the wounded had been evacuated and transferred to the Nbader Institute and Al-Ain Palace. The others are mild and moderate injuries.
The total number of dead was 17 dead and 32 wounded.
A fire broke out near the Institute of Oncology with Ms. Zainab due to the collision of two cars.
The civil protection unit of Cairo received a report from the police of the emergency department indicating that a fire had declared in the vicinity of the Institute of Oncology of Sayeda Zeinab because of the collision of two cars and had been paid by fire vehicles to control the fire.
