Arab Food Industries Company (DUM) has announced the signing of a supply agreement and the installation of a new bakery production line with AMF.

The company said in a statement to the stock exchange today that the cost of the production line of all accessories was 50 million pounds.

The company has identified ways to finance the purchase of the new production line through a medium-term US dollar bank loan and self-financing from the company's resources, the amount to be paid in cash. Egyptian pounds.

According to the statement, the new line is expected to be in operation in February 2020. This is the company's third production in the field of bakery products. It can be used in the production of Sndots domestic products and also in the production of bread.

The production capacity of this line is 270,000 pieces per day.

The company added that this line was a new addition to the company's plan to expand its bakery and light food business, which is characterized by higher overall profit relative to the rest of the company's products.

Domte posted a net profit of 28.84 million pounds from the beginning of January to the end of March 2019, compared with 40.44 million pounds for the same period in 2018.
