(MENAFN – Youm7) A recent report revealed that Apple currently suspends certain operations related to its Siri personal audio device worldwide, during a thorough review of the service.
This news comes after an article in the Guardian newspaper last week announced that a team of collaborators from around the world was listening to a small random subset of records that it " would see "after people have pressed the activation button to check the accuracy of the audio badistant.
Apple has also announced its intention to give users the opportunity to unsubscribe in the future. "We are committed to providing an unforgettable experience to Siri while protecting the privacy of the user," said a spokesman for Apple in a statement.
"While we are doing an in-depth review, we are suspending Siri's global evaluation and, as part of the future update of the program, users will have the opportunity to choose to participate in such services", a- he added.
According to the Guardian, Siri recordings sometimes involve private conversations, such as discussions with doctors and badual contact. Apple told the newspaper that these records do not contain any specific information and are badyzed in safe places.
