Facebook and Instagram users suffered from application service interruptions on Sunday night. Users reported issues with applets, which lasted a few hours as the app was not loaded, prompting them to use Twitter for Twitter via #facebookdown and #instagramdown.
The application flaw was not as serious as last July, when the imaging services of both apps were interrupted for several hours.
"Earlier (Sunday), some people might have difficulty accessing Facebook applications because of a network problem," said Facebook in a statement to TechCrunch. "We have solved the problem and we apologize for the inconvenience," said a Facebook spokesman in a statement.
A series of problems has emerged in recent months through application services, but we do not know why they are repeating themselves after a long period of relative stability.
However, Facebook has continued to grow rapidly in recent months, 2.4 billion monthly active users and 2.7 billion using its integrated applications (including Ingram, VAT and Messenger) during a period similar.
