CAIRO: Al Ahly of Egypt won a 4-0 victory over South Africa's Itra Libra of South Africa on Sunday in the first leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League.

The first leg was to be held on the field of the champions of South Sudan. The return match would be held on 23rd of this year in Al Ahli, but it was held in front of the Egyptian team's court at the request of club officials who informed Libra because of the security conditions in the country.

Al-Ahly, who booked a big ticket for the knockout stages, scored Tunisian Ali Maaloul (17th penalty), Morocco's Walid Azzaro (32nd and 48th) and Ahmed El-Sheikh (90th to 3rd).

Al-Ahly, who has won the African Champions League eight times, dominated the first half due to the difference in expertise, technical and physical abilities compared to players recently informed Libra of African holdings, where the club was founded in 2013.

Al-Ahli's pressure resulted in a penalty after the blocking of Amr Al-Sulayyali, Ali Al-Maaloul, who shot to the left of goalkeeper Daniel Khamis, scoring the goal for his team at the 17th minute.

Al-Ahli added the second goal in the 32nd minute on Azzaro after a center from Hussein Al-Shahat, before the player lost an easy opportunity in the second minute of time off after he arrived in the center of Al-Shahat.

Al-Ahli maintained his pressure in the second half and Azarro added the third goal for his team and his second personal goal, taking advantage of Omar Al-Sulayya's center to pbad the ball deep in the net against goalkeeper Daniel (s 48) .

The protagonist rescued the hero of South Sudan from a new goal for Nigerian substitute Juniora Ajayi (70), who later went on to guard (90 + 2).

Al Ahli was able to score only the fourth goal thanks to his substitute Ahmed Sheikh with a powerful shot to the right of Daniel (s 90 + 3).
