The Egyptian artist Imad Rashad recalled his memories with the late Farouk al-Fishawi, whom he described as a friend of his age.

Farouk al-Fishawi suffered a serious health crisis due to cancer and stayed in a hospital engineers. His condition has deteriorated.
His body was removed from the Mustafa Mahmoud Mosque, in the Arab League Street in Mohandiseen.
