Arab Dairy Products Company (ARAB) revealed the withdrawal of a Gulf Capital Group investment fund for UAE direct investment, competition for the offer to acquire all of its shares.
The Gulf Capital Equity Partners Vand 3 Fund announced its willingness to withdraw from the bid because the company's strategy and expansion plan were inconsistent with the Fund's investment strategy, announced the company in a statement released Sunday.
Arab Direy received this month an offer from the UAE Investment Fund asking it to conduct an anonymous review of the company as part of its desire to acquire all its shares.
On June 16, the company agreed to authorize Friesland Campina International Holding to conduct a confidentiality review of the company as part of its desire to fully acquire the shares of the company.
The company belongs to a consortium of 12 000 European farmers from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, belonging to the Dutch group Royal Friesland Kampina,
