Estonian Otak Tanak holds the title of Finland's champion of international rallies

The ninth round of the World Rally Championship has kept the lead in front of the world champions of the last six years, the French Sebastien Oguet (Citroen) and the Belgian Thierry Novell (Hyundai).

Tanak, who finished sixth in the rally (158) and Novell (155), led the standings with 180 points.

The Estonian driver's fourth victory this year in the WRC after Sweden, Chile and Portugal, the third of the last four rallies and the tenth of his career.

Tanak finished first in the four-day rally, ahead of Finland's Isabika Laby (Citroën) and team-mate Yari-Mate Latvala (Toyota), leading the standings before her car was hit by a rock on Saturday.
