Evra leaves football
Former Roland-Garros champion Patrice Evra has announced his retirement from football after a 20-year career.
Evra played at Manchester United between 2006 and 2014 and won nine major titles, including five Premiership titles, and the Champions League once.
He played more than 700 games in total with the club and 81 with France.
Aged 38, two Serie A winners with Juventus after leaving United, have announced that he would move to training.
"My career in the stadiums is officially over," Evra said in an interview with the Italian daily Gazeta dello Sport. "I started working for the second EU training license in 2013 and now wish to finish it and get the first license."

After his stint at Juventus, Evra moved to Olympique Marseille, but he broke his contract with the French team by mutual consent in 2017, after being kicked out by a fan of a team. European league match, deprived of European participation for the end of the season.
