The Syrian knight Shadi Gharib organized the two-star championship of the International Barrier Federation which lasted for three days at the Al Ain Club of equestrian sports, shooting and golf, under the patronage of SA Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The club, under the supervision of the Equestrian Federation and the UAE Equestrian Federation, with the support of the Sports Council of Abu Dhabi, government partner supporting all sporting events, Longin Diamond Sponsor, the NMC – Al Ain specialty hospital and the Al Ain Wellness Suites Universal Hospital.
The ceremony was presided over and the winners were congratulated by Mohammed Rashid Naciri, general manager of the club. Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, General Manager of the Sharjah Equestrian Club, and a crowd of guests, fans and hikers attended the ceremony.
The curtain on the events of the tournament, which competed with more than 150 knights from 26 countries, the final of the Confederation Cup, the grand prix of the championship, the barricades reached a height of (145) cm, and participated in 40 riders and Persia qualified through two clbades in the Grand Premier and Second Days categories.
