Facebook, owner of Wattasab and Instagram, has officially changed the name of its two apps (Watsab-Instagram) to further unify the company's apps as separate consumer services.
The new names will appear at the address of the app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Play.
On the main screen of your device, the name of each remains the same (now), but Facebook is probably visible on the main interface of both applications and the extension has already started to appear for some users.
Names have changed from Watasab to Watasab from Facebook (Facebook's WhatsApp) and Instagram to Facebook's Instagram (Facebook's Instagram).
Facebook acquired the InStagram photo sharing app in 2012 and captured the world's most deployed messaging application, WatSab, in 2014.
