Liverpool midfielder Giorgino Fainaldom congratulated his compatriot Mohamed Salah after winning the English Premier League Player of the Year award in January by the Professional Players Association.
The club won the trophy on Monday after defeating David Deja, Paul Bojba, Manchester United's Marcos Rushford, Manchester City's Leroy Sani and Watford's Troy Dini.
"Congratulations to Mohammed Salah, the January player of the English Premier League," Fainaldom wrote via his Twitter account.
"They deserve it completely."
Liverpool will face West Ham tonight on the 25th day of Premiership.
