Scientists have recently revealed a diet, describing it as "ideal" to protect the health of people as well as planet Earth.
If you follow a diet called "Planetary Health", more than 11 million premature deaths can be prevented each year, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and maintaining more land, water and biodiversity on the planet, according to Reuters.
The new diet is the product of a three-year project commissioned by Lancet Health magazine and involving 37 specialists from 16 countries.
The idea of "ideal diet" is to double the consumption of nuts, fruits, vegetables and legumes, while halving the consumption of meat and sugar.
"The food we eat and the way we produce it determines the health of people and the planet, and we are now grappling with this mistake seriously," said Tim Lang, a professor at the University of London in London. London.

"We need a major reform, changing the global food system to an unprecedented scale to survive and survive on this planet," he said.
Lang suggests cutting global average consumption of foods such as red meat and sugar by 50%, while the consumption of nuts, fruits, vegetables and legumes is expected to double.

Tim Lang explains that to achieve the goals of starchy vegetables, such as potato and cbadava, will require significant changes in sub-Saharan Africa, explaining that the average population eats 7.5 times the amount suggested.
