Find traces of water on the asteroid Pino

The OSIRIS-REx space probe has found traces of water on the asteroid Bino studied, NASA said.

Amy Simon, a researcher at the Goddard Space Flight Center in the Greenbelt in Maryland, said that there was water containing metals.

Data collected by two optical spectrometers indicate the presence of water on the asteroid, NASA said.

The specialists involved in the maintenance of the OSIRIS-REX spacecraft believe that the remains of water on the asteroid are ubiquitous. Maybe the water was once on a large cosmic body, separated by an asteroid Pino. However, there was no liquid water because of its small size.
