Italy will host the Italian Super Cup between Juventus and Lazio, the Serie A general manager said Tuesday.
Saudi Arabia will host the finals of the Italian Super Cup for the second time in a row, after Jeddah hosted the Super League last season between Juventus and AC Milan.
"We have a contract with Saudi Arabia to make three copies of the Super Cup there," said Luigi Di Cervo, executive director of the league. "This means that the tournament next season will be organized again by Saudi Arabia.
The match should take place midway between the champions of Juventus and the champion of the trophy Lazio, according to the website Football Italy.
Last season's Super Cup, which took place at Jeddah's Al Jawhara Stadium earlier this year, drew a huge crowd of more than 60,000 people.
In the footsteps of Italy, Spain decided to organize the Super Cup early next year in India, while France decided to organize the Super Cup in China.
