DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Former Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora is broadcasting a video clip on the social networks of Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez, who died today, at the Beiteddine festival.
This happened during Siniora's presence at the closing ceremony of the Beiteddine festival in Beirut, where Moroccan singer Abdo Sherif presented a number of songs by Abdel Halim Hafez.When Sharif went to greet Siniora, Siniora grabbed the microphone to share his applause.
The video is widely spread on social media and his comments range from praise to political criticism from the former Lebanese prime minister.
