Google Inc. has introduced a new feature through its Google Play store, allowing Android users to donate to charitable and non-profit organizations in the United States, as well as to a number of people, including the American Red Cross, MSF and UNICEF.

According to the technology site "The Virgin", Google has dropped its traditional 30% fee when buying an app, according to its new program called "Giving Season on Play".
