He stressed that the objective of the enemy during the July 2006 war was to eliminate and repress the resistance, either militarily or through surrender, as well as by the establishment of A new project for the Middle East, and to install the project of US hegemony, dedicated to Israel, is a key, leading and pivotal element in the new Middle East. These and other goals disappeared when we won the war in July, when this victory over the New Middle East project and all hoped to settle the situation in the region for the benefit of Israel and, in return, gave hope to us and to all the peoples of the region the possibility of defeating American and Israeli projects in the region.
"The 2006 victory revealed that the enemy is no longer able to achieve its goals of aggression and war and that, if it unleashes a new war, the price to pay will be heavy, because of the presence of the resistance and the army and the people ready to face this enemy and these ambitions ".
In domestic affairs, he said that the opening and reconciliation meeting at the presidential palace and the resumption of government meetings was a step in the right direction, preserving internal stability and protecting Lebanon from outside interference. .
