MADRID (Reuters) – Barcelona's intention to address Juventus for Uruguayan international midfielder Rodrigo Betancourt, 21, has been reported by Italian media.
According to the Italian site "Calizo Mercato", the Spanish giant plans to make an offer for the old lady, to sign Betancourt during the upcoming summer transfer season, for an amount of 60 million euros.
Betancourt appeared to be the best performer of the season, taking advantage of the injury of Sami Khadira and Emri Chan to take his place at Juventus.
If he succeeds in qualifying Betancourt, the Barca will have to pay half of the transaction to the Argentine Boca Juniors team, the former Uruguayan player, under a contract to sell it to the old lady.
