The National Bank of Bahrain (BNB) announced today the appointment of Issa Masih as the head of risk management. His efforts will focus on strengthening and putting in place a risk management framework to support the bank's future transformation and growth.

This appointment is part of the Bank's ongoing commitment to promote and strengthen Bahrain's leadership skills in various departments and departments of the institution. Issa Masih joined the bank in 2017 as Deputy Head of Risk Management and has more than two decades of experience in the banking sector, including in the commercial banking and investment activities in the Kingdom. from Bahrain.

Prior to joining the bank, he was responsible for risk management at Al Salam Bank-Bahrain. He has also held other senior positions in risk management at Islamic and commercial banks including United Gulf Bank, BMI Bank and Gulf Finance House. Issa Masih holds an MBA from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Concordia, Canada. He holds CFA and PRM certifications.
