Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population in charge of Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, said the Egyptian Medical Mission's Hajj clinics had received until Tuesday morning 9679 cases of illness where they had been detected and the necessary treatment, including 7363 cases in Mecca and 2316 Case in Medina.
Mujahid said that Saudi hospitals had received 22 cases of illness, 6 after healing and 16 cases treated to date. Mohamed Dahi, head of the mission, and Dr. Hisham Mbadoud, head of the Mecca Division, Monday evening, after leaving the hospitals of their residence in hotels for treatment.
Qandil confirmed that all cases had been resolved after leaving hospitals to monitor and treat their cases, noting that hospital cases were handled by a team from the mission who transmitted them daily morning and evening to ensure that the medical service would be provided as far as possible. Thanking the Saudi authorities for providing the best medical service to Egyptian and non-Egyptian pilgrims.
Dr. Mohammed Dahi, head of the pilgrimage medical mission, said that dialysis had been performed in 14 cases in Saudi hospitals, while another case had received chemotherapy. He pointed out that the mission team was coordinating with Saudi hospitals prior to dialysis sessions and chemotherapy to ensure that Egyptian pilgrims on the medical service to the fullest.
He emphasized that the prevention team continued to organize awareness raising seminars on preventive measures for all pilgrims, in addition to the distribution of pamphlets and leaflets to identify infectious and noncommunicable diseases and the means available to them. to prevent them.
In another context, Dr. Amr Qandil announced that a survey of Egyptian pilgrims going to the clinics would be conducted for the first time this year as part of the mission in order to know the pilgrims' opinion the medical service provided to achieve their satisfaction and to develop and improve all the medical services provided to them. The survey was conducted for the first segment last night in four clinics and garnered 97% satisfaction among those who are reluctant to serve, saying the work will be followed by a morning and evening survey in all clinics.
That happened yesterday, at the daily meeting organized by the medical mission for the Hajj to follow the work of the mission.
Dahi explained that during the meeting, a daily plan was prepared for all members of the mission in order to make the most of it, as well as proposals and comments exchanged, which would help to provide the better medical service to Egyptian pilgrims.
He congratulated the Hajj Medical Mission team for its performance, noting that all clinics are open 24 hours a day to serve pilgrims.
