Hajj medical mission clinics received 39,000 Egyptian pilgrims

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population in charge of Media Affairs and spokesman for the ministry, said Egyptian medical pilgrimage clinics had received 38946 cases on Wednesday morning. Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, provides daily monitoring of the mission to ensure the best medical service to Egyptian pilgrims.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Dahi, head of the Hajj medical mission, said that 31 cases of dialysis had been performed in Saudi hospitals, with a total of 109 dialysis sessions, while 7 others had received chemotherapy, stressing that the team was coordinating with Saudi hospitals prior to the proceedings. The dialysis sessions and chemotherapy allow the Egyptian pilgrims to benefit from the best medical service and the medical team of the mission goes every day "morning and evening" in all the hospitals where the pilgrims had been reserved to control them and to follow their state of health.

In another context, Dr. Mohamed Abdelati, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Head of the Egyptian Hajj Mission, Dr. Amr Qandil, Medical Attaché and General Supervisor of the Hajj Medical Mission, Dr. Mohamed Dahi, head of mission and heads of mission of the Ministries of the Interior, Solidarity and Tourism, "a number of Egyptian patients in Saudi hospitals, to control their health.

Dr. Amr Kandil revealed that 87 cases had been admitted to Saudi hospitals, 39 after their cure, but 48 have been treated so far, which is why a number of patients have been admitted to Al Noor specialty hospital. Egyptian patients, whose health is stable, receive treatment and care.
