In anticipation of the launch of the "Saida International Festivals" in 2019, Prime Minister Saad Hariri received yesterday at the Central House a delegation of the National Committee of International Festivals of Saida, led by Committee Chair Nadine Kaen El Amin, who invited him to attend the official opening ceremony of the fourth season of Saïda. International Summer 2019, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Sidon.
The delegation included: Vice President Aya Natout, Captain, and members: Lara Jubaili Hammoud, Agia Daoud Al Haj, Nadine Triqi Hariri, Heba Hanina Shakra Abu, Nahla Zebawi and Rawan Hijazi.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Hariri informed the delegation about this year's festival program and the preparations under way.
Festival program
The fourth edition of the Sidon Festivals will take place on the evening of the 22nd at the Rafic Hariri Sports City waterfront, at the northern entrance to the city, with a concert to honor the memory of the city. Deceased artist Warda Al-Jazairia by presenting a broad bunch of her songs with the interpretation and voice of the artist Sarah Al-Hani.
The festivals will continue the second night of the 23rd with a Wael Kfoury concert, crowned and culminated with 25 of them with the music and sung performances of "Saida At Sunset" performed by the artists: DJ Rudge, Aziza and Albert Buyujian.
