The Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, Ria Hbadan, and a delegation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) discussed the increase of the drug scourge in all the countries of the world, in the light of the diversity of their species and their increasing availability because of their low prices.
"The importance of strengthening coordination between the Ministry of the Interior and the relevant ministries, especially the Ministry of Education, to combat the scourge among schoolchildren," said the participants.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of developing a strategy involving all relevant ministries in the fight against drugs.
"The Office is developing a program for schoolchildren to combat this scourge," said the delegation, "The goal is to provide athletes with places to keep young people away from this scourge."
He also presented the project of allocating places at the airport to foreign workers who are waiting to put an end to their official transactions by providing them with beds, food and a library for reading.
