Hassan moves to determine the causes of the death of Father Elie Najjar

The Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, Raya Al-Hbadan, in a tweet on her Twitter account, "conveyed my deepest condolences on the occasion of the pbading of the mayor of Mar Chaaya Almzka Broumana, the father Elie Najjar, order Antonine and the city of Mar Chaaya and his family ".

He asked the security services "to speed up the investigation to determine the cause of this death".

In the morning, Father Elie Najjar was found dead in his room of the monastery after being shot in the head.

Immediately, the security services went to the scene and opened an investigation into the incident in order to know the circumstances of the case. They then found a paper written on his writing: "I committed suicide".

The Antoninian Order announced that it would receive the body of the late father Elie Najjar tomorrow, Thursday August 8 at 10 am, in front of the entrance to the monastery of Saint Roukoz – Dekwaneh.
