The Palestinian Ministry of Health issued Monday a series of guidelines on the heat wave in Palestine.

The Ministry of Health announced that Palestine will be affected by the heat wave Tuesday to Friday and issued a set of guidelines Who came as follows:

1 – Avoid vertical sunlight and the need to work in the shade and not go out on the street as needed, especially children, the elderly and the sick.

2. Drink a lot and wear loose and comfortable clothes.

3 – Avoid eating sugary drinks, containing caffeine, and close the windows against the curtains of the sun, and keep them closed when the temperature is "high".

* We note that exposure to sunlight with physical exertion, especially in a dry atmosphere, causes the loss of a large amount of water and salts, which leads to the drought, then in the sun.

Symptoms of sunburn include: redness of the skin, dryness, exhaustion, fatigue, headache, high temperature, rapid heartbeat, unconsciousness and coma that can lead to coma, poor urine secretion, a change of behavior and sometimes convulsions.

CAUTION: If a citizen experiences symptoms, they should be taken to the nearest health center or hospital.
