Cairo – (Masrawy):

The famous search engine "Google" celebrated Tuesday the 30th anniversary of the World Wide Web.

The Web is the abbreviation of WWW. It is all that exists on the Internet from different content such as web pages, videos, images displayed in HTML format and accessible via the Internet browser available to the user.

Google celebrated the World Wide Web by turning its official Google logo into a computer screen orbiting the globe, the expression of the Web connecting the world to a small village.

Tim Berners-Lee invented the Web in 1990 and wrote his first web browser in 1990 while working at CERN, near Geneva, Switzerland.

The web was first published outside CERN in 1991, for research institutes started in January 1991 and for the general public on the Internet in August 1991. The World Wide Web was essential to the development of the information era.
