LONDON (Reuters) – Huddersfield Town, leader of the English Premier League, announced Monday its resignation of coach David Wagner.

"The 47-year-old coach left office after lengthy discussions with the club's board," Huddersfield said on his Twitter account.

"Both parties agreed that it was a good step in the future interest of the club."
