Important Guidelines for the Health of Pharmacists and Nurses in the Comprehensive Health Insurance System
Officials from the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday (July 27th) met with the chiefs of nursing in seven hospitals of the new comprehensive health insurance system in Port Said, in the presence of Governor Adel Al Ghadhban.
Ministry of Health officials stressed the need to pay attention to the good appearance and seriousness of the work, to attend training at the highest level, not to be negligent towards the patient and to benefit from the experience gained by trained medical staff in England, in addition to the attention given to the physical fitness of all members. The medical team is made up of doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
Department officials also met with hospital pharmacists of the new comprehensive health insurance system, highlighting the lack of pharmacy in its traditional form in the new system, the need to review pharmacists in hospitals system for protocols in addition to informing patients of the nature of the drugs and their side effects.
