Interpret section 95 to preserve our Charter

The President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, sent a letter to members of the House of Representatives, through the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nabih Berri, asking for the interpretation of the law. Article 95 of the Constitution, in particular paragraph b.
The letter states: "Article 95 of the Constitution requires the interpretation of paragraph (j) of its introduction, in accordance with the rules of constitutional interpretation, in order to preserve our Charter, our national consensus and our common life, which are essential to the existence of Lebanon and in all respects.
We reserve the constitutional right and duty of our position, our role and our oath by taking the measure that we consider compatible and the constitution in matters that have affected us in this letter.
