(Reuters) – Kairie Irving has scored 25 points and five badists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 119-103 victory over the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA on Sunday.
Jason Tatum added 17 points while Markus Morris scored 12 points and eight rebounds while Al Horford and Daniel Tess scored 10 points each with the Celtics.

Kumba Walker is the Hornets' top scorer with 21 points and Willie Hernangmoz added 19 points and 10 rebounds, but that was not enough to avoid defeat.
The Celtics were 30 points behind a Tatom trio about five minutes before the end of the third quarter.
