"

Regarding the funds returned for 2018, he explained that "the lump sum contributions for the first nine months were transferred to the Ministry of Finance during the term of the former Minister Ghbadan Hasbani, and that we transferred to his turn the lump sum of the remaining three months and that there are only three months left ".

"We are discussing how to guarantee these funds in agreement with the Minister of Finance, Ali Hbadan Khalil," he said, adding that he understood the anxieties and suffering of the hospitals, "but that the situation of our country is difficult and that we must all cooperate to overcome the crisis and that we hope to find a solution quickly. "

He also explained that "the Ministry and, because of the delay in the approval of the budget, will start in a few days to sign contracts with hospitals, to complete next week so that we can send invoices to the Court accounts to reserve credits for 2019. "

Moreover, he ruled out a problem related to the stoppage of importers of medicines and medical supplies delivered to hospitals unable to pay, calling on importers to meet to try to find a solution until the overrun of the current period in Lebanon. He badured that "their money is preserved even if the payment has been delayed for a while", emphasizing that "we are supposed to cooperate all to overcome crises".

"Hospitalization is a series of interconnected episodes that are affected by each other," he said. "If one of the two is damaged, the others will be injured.

Regarding the possibility of issuing Treasury bills to pay for hospital expenses, he explained that "this decision belongs to the Council of Ministers meeting, which has been deliberating for some time on the table of the Council of Ministers" .
