Juno captured new images of Jupiter's red spot, which could help scientists understand why she was constantly contracting.

The dimensions of the stain can only be measured in kilometers, but in diameter, where they are 1.3 times wider than the Earth. Knowing that in the past, they were about three times larger than Earth. Scientists have not yet determined why the stain is small and how.
The Juno probe has been studying Jupiter since 2015 and is expected to answer this question by studying the composition of the planet's core, especially around the big red dot and other hurricanes. The probe approaches the planet every two months, records information about its magnetic field and takes new images from different angles of hurricanes, clouds and gas accumulation. It was his last stop at the end of last July, taking pictures of the big red dot from an unusual angle, where the dot appears as a sun rising or setting in the sky.
