"K" soon decides on the final position of the African Champions League

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Thursday that the relevant committees would meet soon to make a final decision on the final phase of the final of the African Champions League 2018/2019 between Esperance and the Morocco.

The International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) released Wednesday a partial decision to annul the decision of the CAF of June 5, 2019 to return the final game in a neutral stadium after finding that the Executive Committee was not competent enough to make the decision to come back.

Kas said in a statement released on Thursday that Cbad overturned the Executive Committee's decision for procedural reasons. But K has not yet received the language of resolution.

Cbad decided to refer the case to the relevant AU commissions to impose the appropriate disciplinary sanctions, if any, and decide accordingly to dismiss the match or not.

"In this regard, K announces that the competent authorities will meet soon to make a decision on the problem and that the details will be sent as soon as possible."
