The consolidated financial statements of Kafr El Zayat Pesticides recorded a 61.9% decrease in net income in the first half of the year compared to the same period.
The company said in a statement today that it had realized a net profit of 23,360 million pounds during the six months ended June 2019, compared to 61,312 million pounds compared to the same period, taking into account the rights of the minority .
Revenues during the same period fell to 400,589 million pounds, against 415,946 million pounds during the corresponding period.
Total profit in the first half of this year fell to 76.852 million pounds, compared to 121.282 million pounds over the same period.
The cost of activity, which increased over the same period to reach 323.737 million pounds, compared with 294.664 million pounds compared to the corresponding period.
At the level of the independent activities, the financial statements of Kafr El Zayat showed a net profit of 22.717 million pounds in the first half of this year, compared to 62.005 million EGP for the corresponding period.
Revenues during the same period fell to 377,265 million pounds, against 366,180 million pounds for the corresponding period.
Total profit for the first six months of this year fell to 56.980 million pounds, compared to 73.836 million pounds for the same period.
