Karim Benzema shines and sends a message to fans of Real Madrid and Ronaldo

French star Karim Benzema confirmed that he was still worthy of wearing Real Madrid's jersey and that all the critics he had formulated in recent years, because of his low score, were due to the presence of another Cristiano Ronaldo, left for Juventus.

Benzema took part in the King's Cup match against Girona and scored two goals before Argentine coach Santiago Solari replaced him in the second half, taking his score to 17 in 34 appearances for Mersey, all competitions confused.

Frenchman Benzema, former team-mate Ronaldo and current Bianconeri have already scored goals this season, 17 goals in less than 29 games.

Benzema's numbers did not stop there: Player Number 9 scored five goals this week, with two goals for Girona and two for Espanyol, and then for his last two goals against Girona.

This is the first time Benzema has scored this goal in a single week since 2015. Naturally, Real Madrid fans will be happy on the offensive side, while the French will respond in their own way to everyone.

Benzema surpbaded the Mexican Hugo Sanchez in number of goals scored at Real Madrid, reaching the number of 209, knowing that Ronaldo is leading with 450, followed by Raul Gonzalez with 323, then Alfredo di Stefano 308, Santiana 308 and Puskas 242.
