Bosnian-born coach Vahid Halilodzic has reached an agreement with club owner Valdemar Keita to leave his post after just one season as head of his technical directorate, in anticipation of the the Moroccan team.
A source close to the case said that the two sides had reached an agreement in Boligwein, where Nantes has been preparing since the beginning of the week.
Valdemar Keita went from Paris to talk to her coach, noting that Khalilodzic and the club owner had finally accepted the divorce, which had been discussed for several months.
According to a member of the technical management of the French club, Khalilodzic, 67, confirmed his desire to leave office and resign.
The coach will not be paid for his remaining season in Nantes, earning 200,000 euros per month.
Khalilodzic will be honored by the club's supporters on Friday, when he will lead Nantes in his last game in the midfield at La Poguard against Genoa.
