KUWAIT: The price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil rose 18.18 dollars Thursday to 59.34 dollars, against 58.16 dollars per barrel last Thursday, according to the price announced by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.
In global markets, oil prices rose sharply yesterday after the US announced its intention to postpone new tariffs on some Chinese products, reducing trade disputes between the United States and China.
Futures contracts for brent increased by $ 2.73 to $ 61.30 per barrel, and Western Texas Intermediate futures were up $ 2.17 to settle $ 57.10 per barrel.
