KUWAIT, Aug. 7 (KUNA) – The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed on Monday, rising 28.2 points to 6114.7 points, an increase of 0.46 percent.
A total of 118.6 million shares were traded among 5,843 transactions valued at KD 25.7 million (US $ 87.3 million).
The main market index rose 10.8 points to reach the level of 4876.7 points of 0.22%. The total amount of shares was 72.16 million shares and 2882 cash transactions worth 5.2 million dinars (approximately $ 17.6 million).
The first stock index rose 36.6 points to reach the level of 6743.5 points, or 0.55%. The total amount of the shares amounts to 46.4 million. These are 2961 transactions valued at 20.5 million dinars (approximately $ 69.7 million).
