Joint Parliamentary Committees Approve Draft Whistleblower Protection Bill and Solid Waste Bill After Paula Yacoubian, Sami Gemayel and Elias Hanaksh Withdraw the Meeting Following a Dispute on the issue of solid waste.

In turn, MP Aoun Aoun said that the whistleblower protection law is a practical measure that relies on the encouragement and protection of the detection of corruption.
MP George Adwan said the solid waste law is a framework law, noting that MPs have opened the House of Representatives on a law that will encourage the detection of corruption.
MP Sami Gemayel had announced during his withdrawal from the session that he did not know what was the purpose of the meeting if the deputies could not voice their opinion and called for amendments to avoid mistakes. He wished not to complete this performance.
MP Paula Jacobin said the solution would be to sort the waste.
On the other hand, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Elie Farzli, announced that no departmental representation at the committee meeting, except by the Minister personally or the Director General, emphasizing that the Council masters itself.
