MP Paula Yacoubian attended Thursday in the presence of Attorney General Appeals at Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, and took the status of personal prosecution against a stranger in the waste file.
Representatives from the Burj Hammoud Landfill, the Karantina Screening Plant, and the landfill and factory control companies also attended the Baabda Courthouse.
Yacoubian gave him possession of sorting and landings by listening to the parties involved. President Aoun called for an expansion of investigations and the appointment of experts.
Yacoubian is continuing its efforts to promote better environmental standards in the waste sector, in the hope that the new government will adopt a sustainable environmental solution and an integrated waste management plan.
