The meteorological department of the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA) predicted on Tuesday that the weather will be cloudy with high temperatures and fog over the highlands. The bulletin reads as follows:
– General situation: the hot air mbades from the Arabian Peninsula affect the eastern basin of the Mediterranean.
– Forecasted weather in Lebanon: Monday: Few clouds or even partly cloudy, with a gradual rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas, while fog is forming in the highlands. Tuesday: A few clouds to partly cloudy, with a new rise in temperature and a fog forms on the highlands. Wednesday: Few clouds without modification by mentioning the temperatures, the fog on the highlands.
– Expected temperatures: on the coast from 23 to 33 degrees. On the mountains 17 to 30 degrees. In rice from 13 to 26 degrees. Inside 17 to 37 degrees.
– Wind: southwest, speed between 10 and 35 km / h.
– Drainage: generally good on the coast, aggravated locally on the highlands because of the fog.
– Relative humidity on the coast: between 55 and 85%.
– Sea state: Low wave height, water surface temperature of 29 degrees.
– Atmospheric pressure: 1007 HPA equivalent to 755 mm Hg.
