European scientists have discovered that light helps patients with chronic skin diseases get rid of itchy itchy skin.

Scientists tested their method on laboratory mice and found that after injection of the infrared-directed solution, the itching had stopped for several months. As mice no longer scratch the skin, previous wounds began to heal and the area of inflammation decreased.
"We hope our approach will help people with chronic skin diseases, such as eczema that causes itching," said Paul Hippenstahl, scientific leader of the research team.
