MADRID (Reuters) – FC Barcelona beat Napoli 4-0 in a friendly match Sunday in the United States.
The Catalan team scored their quartet in just 15 minutes. Uruguayan Luis Suarez opened the scoring 48 minutes later, then Frenchman Antoine Griezmann doubled the score in the 56th minute and just two minutes later, Suarez scored his second and third goals. Before the other Frenchman, Osman Dembele, concluded the festival goals in the 63rd minute.
The match is played on the sidelines of preparations for the new season, as Barcelona look to retain their title in the Spanish League and win the Champions League for the first time since 2015, while Naples seeks to compete with Juventus, the 39, Inter, Rome and Milan at the top of Serie A.
