Vlantain Maritime, a subsidiary of Maridive Marine and Oil Services, has signed a new contract with a company in India valued at $ 160 million.
Maridive said in a statement today that the contract provided for the replacement, renovation and integrated development of a group of oil pipelines, as well as the supply, installation and testing of systems keys in hand.
According to the statement, the implementation of the new contract is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2019 and end in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Maridive pointed out that the value of the contracts signed for the group of companies for the period from 2019 to 2021 was 410 million dollars after having won the latter.
The marine construction sector, comprised of Valentine Marine and Maridive of Shore Projects, has signed contracts totaling $ 206 million.
While the marine support sector executes the remaining contracts worth $ 204 million.
Tariq Nadeem, President of Maridive Marine Services Company, expressed deep gratitude for the new contract signed by Valentin Maritime, which faces significant operational challenges and a reduction in exploration and production expenses. oil on world markets.
He pointed out that the awarding of the contract to Valentin Maritime during a call for tenders was due to the high reputation of the company in terms of providing high quality services and meeting the strict standards applied by customers, in particular security procedures.
Nadim added that the new contract will add new business to the company's contract and expand its operations geographically to several major oil-producing regions extending from the Gulf of Mexico to the Indian Ocean.
