Mubasher: Investors have a 100% chance that the Fed will reduce US interest rates in September.
The US central bank cut interest rates by a quarter of a percentage point for the first time in 10 years last month, reaching a level between 2% and 2.25%.
According to the CME index, which follows the Fed's futures talks on Tuesday, there is a 83.5% chance that the central bank will lower interest rates at the next meeting of about 25 base points.
At the same time, the Fed is expected to reduce its interest rates by half a percentage point at next month's meeting by 16.5%.
