The clinics of the Egyptian Medical Mission for Hajj received, until Sunday morning, 25,895 cases, where they were examined and the necessary treatment provided, including 22,400 in Mecca and 3,495 in Medina.
Dr. Mohammed Dahi, head of the Hajj medical mission, said that 50 cases had been admitted to Saudi hospitals, 20 cases had left the hospital and 30 cases were still being treated. While the other 4 cases were receiving chemotherapy, stressing that the mission team, in coordination with Saudi hospitals prior to dialysis and chemotherapy sessions, ensured that Egyptian pilgrims went to medical service as much as possible. and that the medical team of the mission spends every morning and evening in every hospital, which has been booked to check them and monitor their health.
For his part, Dr. Amr Kandil, medical attaché and general supervisor of the Hajj medical mission, announced the installation and opening of the first two medical mission clinics to provide medical services to pilgrims. Ministry of Tourism, which reach about 37,000 pilgrims this year in Aziziyah, Mecca. What has been open until now in Mecca, has reached 28 medical clinics, the residence of the ministries of Hajjaj "Interior, Solidarity, Tourism" and the opening of the rest of the clinics.
Qandil reported that residential squares and buildings had been set up for Hajjaj and that medical and preventive teams had been sent to familiarize them with the 24-hour clinics, the medical services provided by the mission, training and awareness tours. Kandil confirmed that no case of infectious or epidemiological disease had been detected in Egyptian pilgrims before Sunday morning and indicated that the prevention team continues to hold sensitization seminars to the pilgrims' intention to familiarize them with the preventive measures to be taken and to distribute pamphlets and leaflets to identify infectious diseases and prevent them.
