Microsoft has announced the last stop of its operating system Windows Phone, which will be available December 10 this year, when Microsoft has failed to compete in the telephony market, whether with its phones or its operating system.
The company noted that security support and various updates had been discontinued internally since October 2017, in order to preserve the efforts of the team of developers and focus on the development of other products more impacting for users.
The company has advised its users to use an Android or iOS platform for smartphones to have a better smartphone experience, more secure and richer than that of Windows Phone.
This comes at a time when Microsoft is trying to offer its software products and applications to different user phones on the platforms of different phones, especially for iPhone and Android, especially its smart badistant Cortana and its application for the launch of Microsoft Launcher.
