Minister of Health: Health Care is a National Goal

Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and General Adel Al-Ghadhban, Governor of Port Said, held a meeting at the headquarters of the new Hall of Operations for comprehensive health insurance.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Assistant Minister for Monitoring and Follow-up, Executive Director of the New Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, Dr. Ahmed Mohei Al Qbaded, Deputy Minister of Hospital Affairs and Affiliated Organizations, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Projects.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population and Spokesperson, said the meeting was to review the hands-on training provided by the Ministry's "Data Show". medical team of the Al-Nasr Children's Specialized Hospital, to measure the physical condition.

Mujahid added that the minister had prepared an investment plan for the remaining 26 provinces to benefit from the establishment of the new comprehensive health insurance, particularly in the governorates of Ismailia, Suez, Sinai South, Luxor and Aswan, referring to the establishment of the system in five governorates on 1 July next.

Mujahid said that the Minister of Health and Population had stressed the importance of taking advantage of the experience gained in the implementation of the system in the governorate of Port Said for the rehabilitation of the following governorates , applying international standards and taking into account the population of each province.

Mujahid pointed out that the minister had emphasized the need to maximize the benefits of the role of the private sector in the new system for the benefit of patients, in addition to encouraging investment in the health sector, in accordance with the needs of the system. .

Mujahid said the minister insisted that health was a national goal and that changing the culture of patient service delivery was one of the priorities of the new comprehensive health insurance system. especially with regard to appearance, in addition to providing the best medical service.

For his part, Governor Adel Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, thanked the Minister of Health of the citizens of Port Said, highlighting the satisfaction of citizens for the results achieved in the new system, as well as the constant search for the best .
